日本水泳連盟は２０日、都内で開いた理事会で、「茶髪、ピアス、華美なネイルは禁止」などとする競泳日本代表選手の行動規範を、飛び込み、水球、シンクロナイズド・スイミング、オープンウオーターの各代表選手に対しても適用することを決めた。４月から順守を求める。同連盟の泉正文専務理事は「競泳選手のために行動規範をまとめたが、同じ日本代表ならすべて適用しようという意見でまとまった」と説明した。
